The Real Housewives of New York City star Kelly Bensimon is on a new diet. She reveals that she only eats less than 700 calories a day—and that she calls it the “starvation” diet.
To start her day, Bensimon chomps down on two large oranges—totaling 100 calories.
For lunch, the 42-year-old mom says she eats a hearty feast of tofu, broccoli and brown rice—totaling less than 200 calories.
Lastly, the star finishes off her day with a simple shrimp salad—and beer. That said, her dinner totals between 130-240 calories only.
So what’s the sum total of her daily caloric intake? Around 750 calories.
Don’t be jumping on her “starvation” diet, though, since the recommended caloric intake for Kelly is somewhere close to 1,500. So be sure to consult your doctor first.
