Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels would appear in the July issue of Redbook. Here, she’ll discuss how she managed to shed weight from being a tubby 170-pounder to a healthy 120-pound sexy goddess.
“It was pure hell,” revealed Michaels, “I spent all of eight grade in my classroom because God forbid I ever left. I was terrorized.”
To lose over 50 pounds of weight, the 36-year-old fitness trainer resorted to martial arts. “Karate saved my life. It all stopped the day I broke two boards with a kick,” Michaels reveals in the magazine.
Aside from karate, Michaels also lives by with some of her cardinal fitness rules. These include calorie counting, avoiding processed foods, as well as doing five rigorous 30-minute workouts a week.
