Nutrisystem Drops Spokesperson Lawrence Taylor

Known for their quick weight loss program, Nutrisystem managed to drop off 263 lbs of Lawrence Taylor off of their marketing campaign. An American football hall of famer, Taylor is currently facing allegations of statutory rape. That said, Nutrisystem couldn’t afford any extra weight (no pun intended).

In an interview by TMZ, a nutrisystem rep told the website that “based on the severity of these allegations, Nutrisystem has made the decision to sever our relationship with Mr. Taylor effective immediately.”

To top it all off, the weight loss specialists have already replaced Taylor’s image on their website. They swapped Taylor with the San Diego Padres’ Matt Stairs.
