Naomi Campbell Reveals Her Detox Diet

British supermodel Naomi Campbell appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show a few days ago. Though she revealed that she had a quick temper, Campbell also revealed that she undergoes a detox diet a few times each year. She admits that “it’s good to clean out your body once in a while.”

What’s essential to her diet is a drink that contains lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and some maple syrup. All mixed in water. It’s quite similar to Beyonce’s Master Cleanse diet.

The drink’s recipe goes like this: Mix two tablespoons of lemon juice, a pinch of pepper, and two teaspoons of maple syrup with 500 ml of water and jug down.

The weight-loss cocktail is said to help the body’s digestive process and metabolism. The lemon juice makes you feel full and it also stimulates insulin production. The pepper, on the other hand, gives off a thermal effect which helps your body burn calories. While lastly, the syrup has fat-burning zinc and appetite-regulating magnesium.

Naomi Campbell’s drink is a good addition to any diet—especially if you’re trying to lose more weight while you’re healthily eating for a more long-term result.
