Jenny Craig’s Horse at the Kentucky Derby

Sidney’s Candy is the colt named after weight loss specialist Jenny Craig’s husband. Though Sid Craig died of cancer about two years ago, his wife, Jenny, still stayed in the racing business with hopes to win an event. Thus, there was Sidney’s Candy.

After three consecutive races on Santa Anita, Sidney’s Candy might be the second choice at 6-1 from Wednesday’s post-position draw. That said, the Kentucky Derby might be a good place for Sidney’s Candy to get a shot at racing fame.
